Fifth Annual Cranberry Harvest Celebration

Join The A.D. Makepeace Company and the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers’ Association at the annual Cranberry Harvest Celebration each Columbus Day weekend (October 10 and 11, 2009). Please, no pets.

This fun family event features juried crafters, activities for children, cooking demonstrations, pony and wagon rides, and much more. The highlight of the day is a guided tour of a working cranberry bog.

“Whether you live in the area and make it a point to watch the harvest every fall, or you’ve never seen it, this is a great experience,” said Michael P. Hogan, president and CEO of the A.D. Makepeace Company, the world’s largest cranberry grower.

Our 2008 event drew a record 12,000 people from around the world. We're already busy making plans for the 2009 Celebration!

Throughout the weekend, enjoy musical performances by some of the region’s top talents. The event will also feature old-fashioned fun for the kids, including wagon and pony rides, pumpkin and face painting, games, and coloring contests.
